On Wednesday, October 10, 2007 our Middle School and High School groups (Power Zone and Lighthouse) spent the evening serving at the GAiN (Global Aid Network) warehouse right here in Mount Joy.
Global Aid Network is a multi-national network of ministries serving to demonstrate the love of God, through word and deed, to hurting and needy people around the world through relief and development projects. Our small part in this global ministry was to spend a night sorting and packing clothing that will be distributed to needy people all around the globe.
Of course, even though we were working we still had fun. Some of the clothes were just way too cool to pack without first trying them on!
