Tim Kitchen

Tim was born and raised in Ephrata, PA, where he grew up attending a small local church. It was there that he learned the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a teenager, Tim was heavily involved in his church’s worship ministry, which has deeply impacted his desire to live his life as an act of worship to God.

After high school, Tim attended OneLife, a gap year program where he learned the importance of community, and became passionate about seeing people draw closer to God through meaningful, Christ-centered relationships.

It was also during his time at OneLife that Tim met his wife, Cara. Although they did not begin dating until after the program ended, Tim admits that he was completely sold on marrying Cara roughly halfway through the year. They were married in May 2024, and now live in Manheim, PA.

In 2025, Tim graduated from Lancaster Bible College with a degree in pastoral ministry. During his final year at LBC, Tim served as a pastoral intern at Hope—and he has been here ever since!  He and Cara have developed a deep love and appreciation for the people at Hope Community Church and have enjoyed every opportunity to build relationships through service and leading a small group.

In his free time, Tim enjoys playing music, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. He especially loves having deep, meaningful conversations, so don’t hesitate to say hi and share what’s on your mind!
