God centered relationships are important. Getting connected in such a way to promote internal strength is our goal. Below are the adult classes and groups that are currently meeting.
Sunday Mornings at HOPE
8:30am Preservice Prayer in Room 3 - Gather with other adults who understand the power of prayer and diligently lift up our leaders, our church family and those in the community to the Lord.
9:00am Adoptive & Foster Parent’s Class meet in Room 3 on 2nd & 4th Sundays. This group gathers for support and encouragement. Anyone interested in foster care, adoption, or in supporting those involved in this ministry are welcome to attend.
10:45am Anchored You are invited to join us for a verse-by-verse study through the book of Revelation. Revelation 1:3 says, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things that are written in it; for the time is near." We will see not only what is to come, but the Lord Jesus in all His glory! This study will connect many dots from the Old Testament through the New Testament. 11:00am Rooted: is a Young Adult ministry for ages 18-29. We meet Sundays during second service at 11am. As well as Wednesday nights from 7-9pm at the Hunderts' house. If you have any questions please contact Sam Hundert via email.
Small Groups During The Week

EMPTY NESTERS | OVER 45 meets one Friday evening and one Sunday evening per month at 6pm in the Mount Joy/Columbia area. They build community and relationships through prayer, Bible and book studies and by occasionally sharing meals.
SINGLE AGAIN is for those who have experienced the loss of a spouse due to death or divorce. They are currently meeting for a 9am breakfast the 1st Saturday of the month at various restaurants; they also meet for dinner on the 3rd Friday evening of the month.
MILLERSVILLE/ LANCASTER GROUP invites all ages to join us as we study God's Word together and discuss the latest sermon.
YOUNG COUPLES Our group gathers to worship, study God's Word, pray, and enjoy life together. It is a space where married couples can grow spiritually by connecting in meaningful relationships with others. Led by Tim Kitchen.
THE ROMEO GROUP (Retired Old Men Eating Out) meets every Monday morning for coffee and a light breakfast. We spend our time sharing the ups and downs in our lives while keeping an ever-present focus on Christ through conversation, books and videos.
Small Group Starter Series
This series is for any group that is just starting out (or restarting). Its purpose is to provide small groups with a foundational understanding of the importance of small groups in accomplishing the mission and vision of Hope Community Church: becoming more like Jesus and helping others become like Jesus. We firmly believe that life transformation happens in the context of community, which necessitates cultivating spaces where transformational community happens. Our hope and desire is that as you dive into this series, you will begin to cultivate such a space with those in your group, discovering what a healthy group is and what a healthy group does.
