Just as we can experience inattentional blindness in our physical world, we can also suffer from spiritual blindness that prevents us from seeing God's truth and wisdom. This spiritual blindness significantly impacts our relationships, causing us to miss deeper dynamics at work and react from unhealed wounds. The apostle Paul explains in 1 Corinthians 2 that spiritual understanding comes only through divine revelation, not human reasoning. The good news is that spiritual blindness can be overcome by receiving God's Spirit and learning to walk in step with His guidance. When we allow the Spirit to reveal our blind spots through everyday circumstances, He transforms how we interact with others and creates the meaningful relationships we desire.
