Being One

Despite Christianity's 200+ denominations, Jesus prayed four times in John 17 for His followers to be one. This unity doesn't mean uniformity, but rather wholeness through love - like a football team with different positions working toward the same goal. When believers demonstrate genuine love across denominational lines, it becomes a powerful witness that draws others to Christ. The early church's core beliefs, captured in the Apostles' Creed, show what unites all true believers despite their differences. Unity happens when we focus on serving together, showing patience and kindness, and preferring others above ourselves.
