Social influence refers to the phenomenon where an individual's behaviors, opinions or beliefs change as a result of those they are connected with. Simply put, people are shaped by the influence of others around them. We can be positively shaped into someone better or we can be negatively formed and inherit the destructive tendencies of others. Our vision at HOPE is to help people be transformed into the likeness of Jesus and then to be externally focused to help others become like Him also.
