Intimacy: Revealing Your Inmost Thoughts & Emotions to God

We are living in times of inflamed and explosive emotions and feelings that fluctuate regularly. Emotions are part of life, part of living in a broken world. Although these feelings can be good or bad; strong, healthy feelings are what we must strive for to avoid being victimized by destructive feelings. Our feelings will try to control us like unruly children clamoring for attention if we let them. Those who continue to be mastered by their emotions believe their feelings must be satisfied. We don’t have to please our feelings or allow them to master our lives nor should we deny or repress them. How can one express their feelings in good and constructive ways which will transform them and draw them closer to God at the same time?
