Americans today want it all, the newest cars, the biggest houses, the nicest clothes, the latest technology, to eat at the best restaurants, and more. America is consumed with consumerism. Our culture has bought completely into the idea that money and wealth are worthy pursuits, yet often it is never enough. Those pursing money and wealth are always left wanting more. In Genesis 13 we see how God blessed Abram with much wealth yet his relationship to wealth was vastly different from his nephew, Lot. God blessed Abram both spiritually and materially and promised that all peoples on earth would be blessed through him. How does God our Father view wealth and how should it be used?
