False prophets and fake miracles have left many Christians confused about spiritual gifts, but Scripture provides clear guidance for discernment. Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 12 that authentic spiritual gifts serve the common good, not personal benefit. The Spirit does the work through willing vessels, and He distributes gifts according to His sovereign will.
