Testified and True

In a world that constantly questions faith, John 5:31-47 offers a powerful framework for standing firm in what we believe. Jesus builds a compelling case for His identity using multiple layers of testimony, including the witness of John the Baptist, His own miraculous works, and the testimony of Scripture itself. Yet the Jewish leaders, despite having all of this evidence before them, still refused to believe. The real problem was never a lack of proof. It was the condition of their hearts. This is a sobering reminder that knowledge of Scripture alone is not enough. What the world needs is not just better arguments but faithful witnesses whose lives make the truth impossible to ignore. Like John the Baptist, we are called to point others toward Jesus through our words, our love, and the way we live.
