Kris was born and raised in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania where she still lives with her husband Jerry and their four sons. Brought up at the Hershey Evangelical Free Church, she started attending Hope with her young family in the spring of 2001. Kris has been involved in multiple ministries within the church and currently works in Kingdom Kids and the Awana program.
In her free time Kris enjoys baking, gardening, doing historical crafts and volunteering on the board of three non-profits. Her favorite verse is Galatians 2:20 which she first memorized while on the Bible quiz team in middle school. "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
