Do you ever feel like you are in check-mate? You're not sure what your next move should be? You might feel disillusioned or hopeless because of difficult or tragic life circumstances? That is also the story of Easter. While everything seems hopeless and there is no possible move left, the chess master shows up and declares it’s a lie, you aren’t in check-mate, there is still a move left. Jesus was not in check mate when he was falsely accused, beaten, nailed to a cross, a spear shoved through his side, water and blood pour out, and laid in a grave dead. That was not the end!
