Just as Jesus was tempted by Satan, we are often faced with temptations in the same three ways. Satan wants us to satisfy our desires in ways that do not glorify God. We must choose to place our desires under God's authority. He teaches us how to honor Him through the challenges and tests that He allows in our lives. Like Jesus did, we need to depend on the power of God's word to overcome the temptations before us. What does that look like in the life of a believer?
